Alan Smith heads to MK
Ex Manchester United and Newcastle favourite Alan Smith has raised eyebrows by signing a loan deal till the end of the season with promotion hunting MK Dons.
The Midfielder has been in the background at Newcastle this season after injury, battling to break back in to the squad to no avail.
Smith is looking for regular football and it has been publicised the Dons will pay just £2.5k of his £60k a week wage outlining this as a coup signing for Karl Robinson and the team.
With a playoff clash against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday it is expected Smith will make an appearance in the appointed number 11 shirt.
