Robinson: We produced a classy performance

MK Dons are in fine form but nothing is being taken for granted.

Many would argue that The Dons are 'coming into form' at the right time, something that Karl Robinson knows is the case but knows that if you 'take things for granted' then it could come back to haunt his side: 'with just three games to go we're in a good position, but when you start to take things for granted this game has a habit of coming back and biting you on the bum, so we're not going to do that.

'What an achievement after being down to just 17 players available - and three of those on the bench were carrying injuries.

'It just shows the spirit we have in this club and we try to do things the right way. Scunthorpe is a difficult place to come to, they had not been beaten for 10 games.'

The 3-0 win over Scunthorpe saw MK Dons up to fourth in the league one table and Robinson hailed the 'classy performance' as 'almost perfect': 'I thought we produced a classy performance which I enjoyed. It was almost the perfect performance.

'It has lifted us to fourth in the table and that is important.'
