Result - Huddersfield 1-2 MK Dons

MK Dons returned the compliment, of an away win, in the play-off semi final second leg at Huddersfield but it wasn't enough to take them through to the final.

Having lost the first leg 2-0 at stadium:mk Huddersfield extended their lead through Jordan Rhodes (18), although MK revived the faint hopes just before the break when Daniel Powell (39) scored.

Chances were there to be had but could not be taken and Alan Smith's (90+3) injury-time goal was too little too late.

Huddersfield lost 2-1 on the night but won 3-2 on aggregate to set up a meeting with Sheffield United in the league one play-off final, for MK it is another disappointment in the play-offs and another season in league one next term beckons...
