Pro MK Dons deal for Ivey-Ward

After five-years with MK Dons local lad Jordan Ivey-Ward has finally been reward with his first professional contract.

18-year-old Ivey-Ward has been successfully converted from a defender to a striker with Karl Robinson, as he told the official website, speaking very highly of him: 'the strength of Jordan as a character has really impressed me this season and he has coped magnificently with a change of position late in his apprenticeship.

'We are always keen to support the younger players and I am pleased the academy have produced another professional for the first team. Jordan will offer us great energy, hunger and desire plus his versatility will be a fantastic tool for the team.'

Ivey-Ward's initial contract is for six-months with the option of extending this for the remainder of next season.

Are you pleased to see another youngster, especially a local one, sign professional terms with MK?
