MK Dons cause another upset!
MK Dons 2-1 Blackburn
MK Dons have become something of league cup specialists when it comes to causing upsets. They managed another in the Capital One Cup (as it's now known) by beating Championship side Blackburn on Tuesday night.
Looking for a place in the third round for a third successive season MK Dons had to be content with a goalless first half, this changed early in the second period when Luke Chadwick (52) struck to put the hosts ahead though.
Midway through the second half Chadwick (68) struck again to extend MK Dons' lead and leave the visitors faced with another away exit in the league cup.
Blackburn pulled one back late on through David Goodwillie (83) but it wasn't enough with MK Dons winning through 2-1.
