MK Dons travel to Sixfields on Tuesday to kick-off another, hopefully, successful cup campaign against Northampton in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Changes are expected by Northampton with their squad to be "rotated" by all accounts.
Dean Snedker may replace Lee Nicholls in goal. Adebayo Akinfenwa could keep out Clive Platt again with Ishmel Demontagnac pushing for a start for The Cobblers. Other in contention to start are Anthony Charles, Henoc Mukendi, Lewis Wilson and Louis Moult.
After suspension MK Dons can call on Alan Smith again and the former England man is expected to return to the starting XI, as could Anthony Kay who had to make do with a place on the bench following his weekend return from his own suspension.
Dean Lewington (suspension) is out with the game possibly coming too early for Mathias Kouo-Doumbe (knee). A starting place could be there for Jimmy Bullard with James O'Shea and Charlie MacDonald also vying for inclusions from the off.
