But for better finishing MK Dons wouldn't have lost at Walsall at the weekend.
They did though, 1-0, but Karl Robinson didn't think things were "going wrong" for his side more a case of them not taking their chances with Walsall also credited: 'It was not a case of things going wrong, we just didn't take our chances. But credit to Walsall, we had all the ball but some of their last-ditch defending was remarkable.'
Darren Potter could have easily won a penalty for MK Dons but is "honesty" prevented this.
Robinson knows that pressure has grown following this result and it's "disappointing for the fans" (and everyone else): 'One of my lads could have gone down when tackled in the box in the second half and we would have had a penalty, but he was honest. It's disappointing for our fans who have now seen us twice in a week and got nothing. Now the players have put pressure on themselves for the next two games.'
The club now have to dust themselves down ready to face Yeovil next time round but the MK Dons boss knows this will be another tough fixture.
He feels the pressure being put onto clubs will soon be rewarded with goals though: 'There have been some shock results today in this division, and Yeovil, who we play next week, lost to Bournemouth. So many teams can beat each other - Walsall have beaten us. If you don't take your chances the back four start getting disappointed and the home fans get confident. But we shall turn that pressure into goals.'
