Draw sees visitors become record breakers

MK Dons 1-1 Notts County

18th Sept 2012
19:45
Stadium:mk

MK Dons' 100% home record in league one came to an end on Tuesday, the draw with Notts County at stadium:mk did see the visitors set a new club record though.

Having had the better of the half Notts County got the breakthrough they probably deserved when Neal Bishop (27) struck a fine goal to give them a one-nil half time lead.

As with the previous game it was an MK Dons substitute that struck, this time it was Jay O'Shea (68) who came off the bench to equalise and earn the hosts a point in the 1-1 draw.

Perhaps the 100% home record might have ended but County are a quality opponent, if their standing in the league one table did not point to this the fact that this draw meant that they broke a record of more than 40-years of unbeaten away games did, this draw made in 10 without defeat for them in the league.
