MK Dons suffered a rare home defeat, defeat full stop really, when they suffered a home reverse to promotion chasing rivals Stevenage on Saturday afternoon.
Just before the half hour Lucas Akins (27) scored to send Stevenage into the break a goal to the good.
No equaliser could be found by MK Dons in the second half so Stevenage, recovering from a rare defeat of their own recently, saw through a 1-0 win to keep up their promotion charge.
