MK Dons hit Cambridge City for six to ensure that they took their place in round two of the FA Cup, setting up a meeting with AFC Wimbledon.

A wonderful goal from Shaun Williams (12) broke the deadlock early on with efforts cleared off the line and one coming back off the woodwork before the lead was doubled just before the break through Jay O'Shea (43). Dean Bowditch's (45+2) injury-time strike sent MK into the break three-nil up.

On the hour Cambridge City reduced the deficit through David Theobald (60), but that was as good as it got!

Three goals in three minutes, starting with a second from Williams (74) from the spot with Dele Alli (75) and Adam Chicksen (77) adding to this secured a 6-1 win.
