MK Dons leave it late to beat leaders

Tranmere 0-1 MK Dons
16th November 2012
19:45
Prenton Park

League one leaders Tranmere were downed by MK Dons on Friday night at Prenton Park to see MK Dons move up to second place in the table.

The first half saw MK Dons control most of it but they couldn't force a breakthrough, with the hosts rarely threatening themselves. Ryan Lowe missing the best chance for the visitors.

Tranmere offered more threat in the second half but their best chance actually did come in the first half.

The way it was going a goalless draw seemed on the cards... That was until Stephen Gleeson (87) cropped up with a winner three-minutes from time to give MK Dons a 1-0 win.
