Walsall stun MK Dons

MK Dons 2-4 Walsall

MK Dons slipped to a surprising Boxing Day defeat to Walsall at stadium:mk on Wednesday afternoon.

When Ryan Lowe (6) gave MK Dons an early lead it all looked so good but two quick goals from Febian Brandy (15) and Will Grigg (25) saw Walsall come from behind to lead two-one!

A minute past the half hour mark MK were level though when Dean Bowditch (31) struck but Walsall scored again just before the break, Grigg's (43) goal seeing them go into the interval three-two up.

Twice the woodwork denied MK Dons another equaliser with a 4-2 win for the visitors secured in injury-time when Jamie Paterson (90+2) struck.
