'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Striker poised for MK Dons exit

Given the (as it should be) realistic financial constraints that MK Dons work under player departures before new year arrivals are what are really needed.

Karl Robinson would prefer it the other way but understands the situation: 'I want to get players in before I send players out, but I've got to worry about the budget.'

One of those that will almost certainly be on his way is Jabo Ibehre.

The striker returned to MK Dons on Friday at the end of his loan spell with Colchester and will hold talks with Robinson today: 'We will see how it goes with Jabo.

'We need to make some leeway to get things sorted. I'm having a meeting with Jabo on Monday to talk about things.'

Colchester are believed to be keen on keeping him, so if a deal can be agreed it is likely they will.
