MK Dons secure winning start to 2013

Notts County 1-2 MK Dons
1st January 2013
15:00
Meadow Lane

Having lost their previous two MK Dons kicked off the new year by returning to winning ways at Notts County on new years day.

It was a wonderful start the game with early goals from Darren Potter (6) and Daniel Powell (13) leaving them in complete control before the quarter of an hour mark.

10-minutes into the second half a penalty from Jamal Campbell-Ryce (56) brought Notts County back into the game, one in which they should have equalised with Lee Hughes missing a great chance and being denied by the bar.

MK Dons did enough though to hold on and win 2-1.
