MK Dons beat Owls

MK Dons 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday
FA Cup 3rd Round
15th January 2013
19:45
Stadium:mk

A place in the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time their history was secured by MK Dons on Tuesday night, a replay win over Sheffield Wednesday secured this.

Following a shirt-pulling incident MK Dons were awarded a penalty. Shaun Williams (28) stepped up and made no mistake from the spot to put the League One side ahead against their Championship opponents.

One became two when an attempted Dean Bowditch (75) cross alluded everyone to end up in the back of the net.

MK Dons might have added to the scoreline, but 2-0 was enough to secure them their place in the next round of the FA Cup.
