Cherries Punish 10-man MK Dons

MK Dons 0-3 Bournemouth

MK Dons might be enjoying great success in the FA Cup, however their League One promotion bid is faltering and they slipped to a crushing defeat to promotion rivals Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

A poor back pass allowed Lewis Grabban (9) in to break the deadlock for Bournemouth early on with MK Dons reduced to 10-men on the stoke of half time when Ryan Lowe was shown a straight red.

First half injury-time saw Marc Pugh (45+4) double the visitors advantage as a result.

A second half fightback was shown by MK Dons, and had an effort gone in and not come back off the woodwork perhaps they could have gained something? As it was Harry Arter's (84) late strike secured The Cherries a 3-0 win and condemn MK to a fourth defeat in six.

Disgusting tackle by Lowe, shame he won't be serving a far longer ban, as Elphick will be out injured far longer than 3 games.... Totally out of order for a 'professional' footballer to deliberately 'take out' another pro... the guy is a nutter, no less...
