Appeal Failure Sees Kay Out For Four

Appeal Failure Sees Kay Out For Four

MK Dons put in an appeal against Anthony Kay's recent sending off, however the FA rejected this.

It was being argued that it was a case of "wrongful dismissal" when Kay went against Yeovil at the end of January but the decision was upheld, so the defender will now sit out four-games, three for the sending off itself and another for it being his second red card of the season.

Kay already sat out the Bournemouth defeat; games against Oldham and Doncaster will also be missed along with the FA Cup fifth round meeting with Barnsley.
