MK Dons Slump Again

Oldham 3-1 MK Dons
9th February 2013
15:00
Boundary Park

MK Dons' League One promotion hopes took another dent as they suffered a third successive defeat when they lost at struggling Oldham on Saturday afternoon.

Managerless Oldham, after Paul Dickov resigned following defeat last weekend, opened the scoring through loanee Lee Barnard (22) and were almost two-up before MK Dons drew level through Daniel Powell (39).

On the stroke of half time Oldham were ahead again when Jean-Yves Mvoto (44) headed home.

Another loanee, Chris Iwelumo (53), further extended The Latics' lead early in the second half with chances coming and going for both sides after this but it was Oldham who ran out 3-1 victors, meaning MK Dons drop into the bottom half of the table.
