MK Dons Draw At Pompey

Portsmouth 1-1 MK Dons
26th February 2013
19:45
Fratton Park

MK Dons had to be content with a point at Fratton Park on Tuesday night against struggling Portsmouth.

Against his former club Izale McLeod really should have opened the scoring early on, however he lacked composure and Portsmouth capitalised on this to take the lead at the midway point of the half when David Connolly (22) headed home.

MK Dons soon equalised though when Shaun Williams (27) brilliantly scored.

Another chance somehow passed McLeod by early in the second half when he missed an open goal and that proved crucial with the game ending in a 1-1 draw, which was of little help to MK Dons and their failing play off hopes.
