Play Offs Missed But MK Dons End With A Win

Stevenage 0-2 MK Dons

An ultimately disappointing season for MK Dons did end with a victory at Stevenage, who will be happy to see the season end too, on Saturday afternoon.

Patrick Bamford (33) signed off from his loan spell with MK Dons from Chelsea with a goal in the first half as he headed home just past the thirty-minute mark.

Having stepped off the bench a few minutes earlier Ryan Lowe (77) wrapped up a 2-0 win when he had robbed Mark Roberts before rounding Stevenage keeper Chris Day.

Ian McLoughlin was forced into saves from James Dunne and Roberts as Stevenage's troubles in scoring continued as they failed to find the net for a fifth game in succession, slumping to a fifth defeat in eight games.

MK Dons' season hasn't been a successful one, a top-10 finish might have been secured but the play offs would have been the minimum aim really!
