'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rotherham Come To Stadium:mk

Another week of manager speculation hasn't been ideal for our preparations has it, but when Saturday comes (no Sheffield United film pun intended) I'm sure MK Dons will be at it.

It's been a bit of a wobble for us recently and Rotherham aren't the easiest side to be facing at this stage are they.

Samir Carruthers and Lee Hodson (international duty) are free to return having been away with their respective countries last time out so that as boost for Karl Robinson.

Speaking of Robinson, his name has been heavily linked with Sheffield United this week but despite the reports to the contrary he isn't looking to take that job as he's happy where he is, he told BBC Three Counties Radio: 'I'm flattered and honoured to have been linked to a club like Sheffield United, but I'm flattered and honoured to be here too.

'I have a long-term goal with Milton Keynes and I'm very happy here. There was never an official approach.'

As for improvement with MK goes he's looking for this but knows it'll be another difficult afternoon, he added: 'The last few results on the road haven't been great, but now we're back at home. We love playing here, but we know Rotherham will be very hard to break down. I predict they will be in the top eight this year.

'It will be a very difficult afternoon, but we've had a really good week.

'We have a very young group here now - I think five of the starting eleven will be 22, 23 or under, and that's not been mentioned enough. But they're in a good place mentally and will only go from strength to strength.'

Three straight defeats won't want to be added to with a fourth but the Millers will be a tough proposition this weekend. Will the manager talk have a negative impact on things though?

I'm not sure would be my honest answer but I'm going to plump for an MK Dons win!

Would you agree or disagree?
