Huge Injury Boost

It's fair to say that we're suffering a bit of a crisis of confidence, as well as missing some key first team players.

Antony Kay and David Martin could pretty soon be back in the picture to make a first team return for MK Dons though.

What a boost this would be, as they're two key first team players and you don't need me or even someone far more qualified in the boss Karl Robinson to tell you this!

Nevertheless we'll hear what Robbo has to say about their impending returns, he said: 'Antony Kay is progressing really well and we're looking forward to him returning to training with us; I'd like to think he'd be involved in some capacity for Port Vale.

'He was involved in the second best defence in the league last year so he's been a big, big miss for us.

'Dave is my number one and he's been missed too. Ian (McLoughlin) is going to be a wonderful goalkeeper but has had a dent to his confidence recently.'

Kay has been out for some 10-weeks after injury on a troublesome hip injury, but that Port Vale game just before Christmas will hopefully be when he comes back.

Martin hasn't played for a month due to a calf injury, but he could be back in training by the end of this week.

All being well a couple of early Christmas presents for us!
