'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A Catalyst

If you're going through a bit of a rough, or barren patch, you need something to kick start things don't you?

MK Dons went to Wolves on Saturday and not only came away from Molineux having avoided defeat they came away having won 2-0!

Patrick Bamford, once again, found the net for us to open the scoring with Ben Reeves doubling the lead (and securing the points) in the second half.

I don't think saying "waxing lyrical" would be going to far following Karl Robinson's thoughts following this win, which really was a cracking one to get us back on track.

Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio: 'To come here and win 2-0, it's arguably one of the most perfect performances you'll see from any side here - I think it's one of the most perfect performances you'll see anywhere in the country.

'It had everything I love about football, the passion, the desire, the quality, the ball rotation, and two wonderful sets of fans. We are very happy about how we have performed, and we've got to use this as a catalyst for the rest of our games.

'Now (the players) are back to where they belong. They're back to a group of people who know what it takes to win football matches.'

Up until Saturday Wolves had lost just once at home, whereas we'd not won in god knows how long. Perhaps it wasn't as long as it seemed? It must have been the start of November since we'd last won a league game though?

We might be nine points off the play offs but if this can't act as a catalyst to revamp our season then nothing will, will it....
