It Wasn't To Be
Had MK Dons managed to see out the lead they had over FA cup holders Wigan in the third round replay last week they'd be preparing to face premier league outfit Crystal Palace this weekend.
That would've meant a reunion with former MK Dons duo Aaron Wilbraham and Jason Puncheon.
It wasn't to be though as Wigan forced that replay to extra time before going on to win 3-1 after extra time to ruin this, much to Wilbraham's disappointment.
Wilbraham told the Advertiser: 'I had a couple of people text me from MK, just saying they might have Palace in the FA Cup if they win the game against Wigan.
'I did keep my eye on it to be fair, and obviously they took the lead in the replay but ended up getting beaten 3-1.
'It could have been a possibility but it wasn`t meant to be unfortunately.'
Both players, if they'd been involved would've got a good reception from the MK Dons fans as they were both popular during their time at the stadium:mk and produced the goods.
