Robbo Not Giving Alli Away

Robbo Not Giving Alli Away

Karl Robinson knows that keeping Dele Alli at Milton Keynes Dons is going to prove very difficult, this summer alone.

Eventually Robinson is realistic enough to know that his future will be away from the stadium:mk but he is hoping that he will be able to keep him this season and build a side around him as he knows that one with him in it stands a much better chance of success in league one.

The MK Dons boss told sky sports: 'I am desperate to keep him if I am honest as I want to build a team around him and, if we keep him, we will undoubtedly be a better side with him than without him.'

18-year-old Alli has been linked with Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, to name but a few at premier league level, and this interest doesn't surprise Robinson in the slightest as he has always rated the midfielder highly.

Robinson rates him as the best youngster he has ever worked and as much as keeping him is what he wants MK Dons will sell if needed but they aren't giving him away as any interested party will have to 'meet the value of Dele' that he, and the club, have.

Another season with MK Dons could be the best thing for Alli but the lure of the premier league could prove too strong, in particular if some £5m is on the table with possible add-ons and a sell-on clause?

It could even be possible that the attacking midfielder could be loaned back to the club perhaps?
