Brendan Galloway's Milton Keynes Dons exit hasn't been confirmed, as rumours said was about to happen anytime, but it has been announced that he is seeking an exit this summer.
Everton have been strongly linked with the 18-year-old and as he has a contract until the end of the coming season should his exit be confirmed from the stadium:mk whatever club signs him would have to pay a fee.
The club released a statement on Friday that confirmed that he had informed the club, 'through his advisors', that he wants to leave....
He isn't going to leave unless it is in the best interests of the club though, Pete Winkelman told the official website: 'We are devastated that Brendan wishes to leave as we feel our first team is the best place for him at the moment and his continuing development.
'There has been interest from several Premier League sides in Brendan and we fully appreciate the lure of the top flight is enormous. We accept that Brendan may have played his last game for the Club, but we will remain in discussions with interested parties to ensure MK Dons receives the best possible deal for one of the country's brightest young talents.'
Karl Robinson feels a little 'let down' it would appear.
The boss always appreciates and understands that players want to move on and further themselves but it seems like he is disappointed by the manor of the way things seem to be unfolding with Galloway.
He added: 'We are very focused on the development of our young and gifted players and I gave Brendan his debut at the age of 15. I've seen him grow into a very talented footballer.
'The Club, the Chairman, the fans and I have been fully supportive of Brendan throughout his career with the Dons, and nothing has made us prouder than to see him represent England at U16, U17, U18 and U19 levels.'
It was also confirmed that 'the Club will make no further comment until this issue is concluded.'
