Ariyibi In Team Of The Week (18/9/17)

Ariyibi In Team Of The Week (18/9/17)

MK Dons are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Gboly Ariyibi in the three two victory over Rochdale at the weekend at Stadium: MK was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Ariyibi was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'An entertaining affair at Stadium MK saw the hosts run out 3-2 winners, and Ariyibi was the star of the show with two goals against visiting Rochdale. After lashing home a loose ball inside the box for his first, the winger struck an unstoppable shot into the top corner to help the Dons to victory.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Ariyibi for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Tomas Holy (Gillingham), Matt Kilgallon (Bradford City), David Mirfin (Mansfield Town), Christoph Zimmermann (Norwich City), Albert Adomah (Aston Villa), Kevin Dawson (Cheltenham Town), Jed Wallace (Millwall), Jake Taylor (Exeter City), Gboly Ariyibi (MK Dons), Luke Norris (Swindon Town), Jamal Lowe (Portsmouth).

Manager - Lee Johnson (Bristol City).
