Pawlett In Team Of The Week (13/11/17)

Pawlett In Team Of The Week (13/11/17)

MK Dons are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Peter Pawlett in the one nil victory over Fleetwood Town at the weekend at Stadium: MK was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Pawlett was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Peter Pawlett looked as though he`d never been away after he tasted his first EFL action for two months in Milton Keynes Dons` 1-0 home win over Fleetwood Town. He produced an all-action midfield performance, in a game which was settled by Chuks Aneke`s first-half strike.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Pawlett for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Remi Matthews (Plymouth Argyle), Danny Grainger (Carlisle United), Ryan Inniss (Colchester United), Steve Old (Morecambe), Lee Holmes (Exeter City), Alex MacDonald (Mansfield Town), Neal Bishop (Scunthorpe United), Peter Pawlett (MK Dons), Harry Anderson (Lincoln City), Brett Pitman (Portsmouth), Chris Long (Northampton Town).

Manager - Derek Adams (Plymouth Argyle).
