MK Get Revenge on Millers!

MK Dons have Stretched their lead at the top of League Two to a huge 11 points!

The latest victims to MK`s amazing form was Rotherham at Millmoor, and to all fans that witnessed the Dons relegated in South Yorkshire back in 2006, the win meant a lot more than just 3 points.

Although MK will go home tonight with 3 points, in no way were they dominant, and not until the 82nd minute did the Dons even look like taking maximum points when Mark Wright sent the away end into raptures!

The Robins had missed many clear cut chances, the best of which fell to skipper Coughlan. Gueret had made a quality reflex save and as the ball fell kindly to the Robins captain, who somehow managed to turn the ball round the post from 1 yard, and at point blank range.

The Dons were under constant pressure but defended resiliently, but with Jemal Johnson`s introduction, the match was suddenly a much more even affair. Jemal went on a surging run, and after ghosting past a couple of red shirts, he squared it across the box to Mark Wright, who put the ball through Warrington.

This was in no-way a vintage display from MK, but when you turn up to 3 rd in the league with a right-back up-front, it`s never going to be easy.

Star Player

Drissa Diallo, battled hard, winning some vital tackles and winning some difficult headers.
